Axiom is available for the latest 20.0, 20.5, & 21.0 production builds of Houdini. Daily builds are not supported.

Package Files

After downloading Axiom, unzip the files. You will find a json file and a folder. This is the Houdini package. If you look inside the folder you will see each Houdini version and platform that is supported.

<aside> 💡 Axiom packages have a version, revision, and build number associated with them. It is safe to install multiple versions and revisions together such as Axiom 2.2, 3.3 & 4.0 however you can not have multiple builds of a particular version and revision installed at the same time such as Axiom 4.0.064 & 4.0.065.

<aside> 💡 When a new production build is released by SideFX we will compile a new plug-in for that version. You will need to download and re-install Axiom if you want it to work with the new Houdini build.

Installation

Next you will need to move the json file and folder to your Houdini preference’s packages folder.
