Here are all updates, patches, bug fixes, and build info.
4.0.130
- Updated for the Houdini 21.0.559 production build.
- Adding the “AXIOM_SOLVER_SOURCE_USE_NANOVDB” environment variable to control usage of NanoVDB.
- Output velocity now represents the real movement of fluid in world space even when the timescale is not 1.0.
- All collision velocities (both VDB and source shape) are now inversely scaled by time scale so that their movement remains the same regardless of the time scale. Before colliders would move the same amount but the velocities would be scaled down causing unrealistic looking results.
- Added the "AXIOM_COMPUTE_OCL_ALLOW_SHARED_MEMORY" environment variable to allow OpenCL to allow for the use of shared memory. The default is still for it to be off. This is for debugging some systems that maybe allow it.
- Adding additional environment variables for TBB when running multi-threading operations. Specifically added an option to control if threads are dispatched in an arena.
- Supports Houdini 20.0.896, 20.5.654, 20.5.684, 21.0.440, 21.0.512, & 21.0.559 on Windows, macOS, & Linux.
- Cuda Version 12.2, Linux Driver 525.60.13+, Windows Driver 525.41+
